Sport Hamilton along with the City of Hamilton hosted its Annual Breakfast of Champions. At this event athletes and teams from all around the city receive honours for their gold performances in their respected sport. At this year’s breakfast the speaker was a true sport icon, Angela James. She is considered a pioneer of women's hockey and has also received the great honour of being one of two women inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame this past June.
